Orignial Water colors

My paintings are framed and mounted in a unique way. I’ve always felt that placing watercolor paintings behind glass obscures and obstructs the viewer from experiencing the true beauty and textures. Therefore, all original watercolor paintings are carefully mounted onto a hard board. Then the surface of the painting is either carefully rubbed, by hand, with a cold wax medium or covered with an acrylic finish (depending on the mediums used in the painting) that protects, preserves and enhances the painting. Finally, they are framed with a beautiful wood float frame that has been hand made in our shop. No glass is needed with this technique. The color of the frame has been carefully selected to enhance each individual orginal piece of art work. To order an original painting just contact me Here. Prints

All prints are carefully edited to ensure that colors are as close as possible to the original painting. They have been printed onto archival fine art papers that have the texture and feel of real watercolor paper. Prints are available in 2 sizes 5X7 or 8X10. You can order them in a cellophane sleeve (5X7 $20 or 8X10 $30). Prints can also be framed for an additional $45 for 5X7 and $55 for 8X10. If you’d like to order a print contact me Here. Frames

All frames are made in our own workshop. They have been meticulously hand crafted from solid wood. 4 color options are available when purchasing print with a frame (black, black-brown (shown below), white and antique white). All original art works come mounted and framed in the color that best enhances the painting. Mounting hardware is included with all frames.

Shipping

Each framed painting (either original or print) is carefully wrapped, sealed with a thank-you note and packaged in box suitable for gift giving.
