Framing

Our frames are all custom made of solid wood in our work shop. They have been uniquely designed to allow the intrinsic beauty and subtle textures of the Watercolor painting to take center stage. The painting is protected with an archival quality cold wax medium so that it doesn’t need to be behind glass which often obscures it.

We offer 2 different styles of float frames, the Gallery and the Modern.

Gallery Float Frame:

The gallery float frame has a 3/4” - 1 1/2” (depends on size of painting) space between the frame and the painting, with a matting back board filling that space. Both the frame and the matting back board colors can be custom selected by you.

Modern Float Frame:

The Modern float frame has a 1/4” gap between the frame and the painting with no back board matting. The frame color is custom selected by you.

Frame Finish Options

We offer 2 different finish option for the frames with a variety of colors choices within those finishes. The 2 options available are stain or solid color.

Stain Color Options:

- Eucalyptus grey - a bluish grey tint that looks great with bouquet paintings that have some eucalyptus greenery

- Walnut Brown - a perfect choice for darker, warm toned paintings

- Linen White - a nice soft white wash look

- Charcoal Black - rich and dramatic

Solid Color Option:

Dark Walnut Brown - a nice rich, warm dark color

Antique Linen White - A soft light color that matches nicely with the color of the natural watercolor paper

White - For that crisp clean white look

Black - For a dramatic way to enhance your painting
